The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) is a state-level entrance examination conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra. It facilitates admissions to undergraduate courses in fields such as Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, and Agriculture across various institutions in Maharashtra. 

 

Exam Details:

 

Mode: Online (Computer-Based Test)

 

Duration: 90 minutes for each paper

 

Papers:

 

Paper 1: Mathematics (for Engineering aspirants)

 

Paper 2: Physics and Chemistry

 

Paper 3: Biology

 

 

Subjects Covered:

 

Paper 1: 50 questions on Mathematics

 

Paper 2: 50 questions each on Physics and Chemistry

 

Paper 3: 50 questions on Biology

 

 

Marking Scheme:

 

Mathematics: 2 marks for each correct answer

 

Physics, Chemistry, and Biology: 1 mark for each correct answer

 

 

Languages Offered: English, Hindi, Marathi, and Urdu

 

Frequency: Once a year

Eligibility Criteria:

 

Nationality: Must be an Indian citizen.

 

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed the 12th standard or equivalent examination with subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (for Engineering) or Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (for Pharmacy).

 

Minimum Marks: A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination (45% for reserved categories).

Application Fee: ₹800 for General category; ₹600 for Reserved categories.
