B.M.S. College of Engineering (BMSCE), established in 1946, is one of India’s oldest and most prestigious private engineering institutions, founded by visionary philanthropist Late Sri B. M. Sreenivasaiah and later nurtured by Late Sri B. S. Narayan. Located in the historic and culturally vibrant Basavanagudi area of Bengaluru, Karnataka, BMSCE is governed by the B.M.S. Educational Trust and is permanently affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi. It gained autonomous status in 2008 and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
